Writing Class

I am taking the W131 writing class for a couple reasons. First, it is required by the University for me to obtain my degree. Although I am still undecided about my degree, I know that it is going to be something in the criminal justice field. This brings me to the second reason I need a writing course. I will have to write on the job. I will need to be a better writer than I currently am so I can communicate with peers more effectively. Being able to write is necessary in the world toady. We have to do it every day and I would like to become better at it. I would like to learn more styles of writing as well. Most of the writing I have done in the past has been boring. I want to learn how to make my writing more enjoyable to the reader.
