Why am I here??

As I sit back and think about why I am taking a university writing class, one main reason pops into my head. I feel I should take a writing class because it's important for communication. We, as people, need to be able to read what ourselves and others are writing. The basic writing skills are what shape the sentences we use to speak to one another each and every day. If we cannot write then we most likely cannot speak either. Writing is something that is often overlooked and taken for granted when it's really something that is very powerful. I'm sure majority of us would like to have a job. A job needs communication, in fact, there aren't too many things you can do that don't include communication. I believe this is why taxpayers are willing to pay for me to take this class. The taxpayers are those who work and anyone who has worked will know that any type of work you're involved in will include some type of communication. My decision to take the college level course was probably the easiest. I know that taking this course will help me in more ways than one and that motivates me. This class and my education have a very high value of priority in my life because I know my education is important to make something of myself and it will bring me happiness because I'll be able to provide for myself and my family and do things that many would love to do but few can do because sad but true, our world revolves around money.
