Why Am I At IUPUI?

There are many reasons that come to mind when i think about why I am at IUPUI. First off, IUPUI is a very affordable school. I was accepted to other schools besides just here, however, IUPUI offers the biggest bang for my buck if you will. I get i quality education at a very reasonable price. Other universities can get very expensive and have the same educational qualities as IUPUI. Next, reasons why i am taking english w131. Unfortunately, i regret to say that I am taking this course going in with the mind set that I am here ONLY because I have to. Who knows? Maybe that will change as the semester goes on. Maybe i will start to realize that this class will be good for me. Now, I have read some of the other blogs and some people seem to think that because their major isnt in "english", that they dont need to know how to write properly. Thats crazy talk. You need to know how to write no matter what your major or career choice may end up being. Other classes like math and Science classes may only apply to certain fields of study. English however, is obviously needed no matter what.
