There is many reasons why I chose to take a writing class. The main benefit of taking this class will be able to analyze points of view of readings i will do later in my college career. I believe if u have a good writing background, u will be able to read and analyze data better even if the information is difficult to comprehend u can use tools from writing to build on the concept your trying to learn about. the university makes this class a requirement due to the vital knowledge u will obtain from it. If you are able to write well and able to describe concepts and arguments on paper you will construct strategies on how to read and see the assumptions of writers and will be able to contribute to the support or arguments he or she is stating. I do not see any cons to this class. You can only benefit from taking this class unless you do not do any of the required work and slack during discussions in class. This class will make me happy on many levels. I want to be able to write down my ideas clearly and constructively so i can share it with my peers and my professors. This class is a great class to attend in your early years of college. It will help u develop your writing skills and strategies and help u analyze info in different ways. You will be able to look at assumptions from a different view and will be able to construct views writers may not have noticed or spoke of in their work.
