W131

I am taking English 131 because it is required through the university. I also am taking it because I think it would benefit me if I learned how to write properly and effectively. When I get a job I am sure I will have to write documents, whether it be emails, reports, etc., for my job. The W131 course can improve my writing skills and that also will improve my work performance and help me make advances with my career. I think the reason taxpayers would pay for this class is because writing is a basic skill that everyone should know how to do properly. And the reason the university requires it is because it is a course that will prepare you for the real world and the work force. Most people don’t enjoy writing but it is a necessary task for one to do to communicate effectively. I feel like I would benefit most from this class if I can just hone in on my writing skills and improve them in a way that would benefit me most. Writing is an everyday task and is vital to the world as a whole.
