What I learned-Michelle Coundiff

I learned alot from Keith's class especially for the image analysis essay. When I first heard what we had to do I thought it was going to be very easy. However, I later noticed that the paper was more than just describing two images. When I turned my first draft in, Keith's critique was very straight foward and helpful. The peer review also helped alot. It was alot easier to edit my work when someone who had to do the same assignment helped and gave me advice. I also liked reading all the other people's work. Some had really good points to their reflection. The synthesis essay was a little harder to write but still with the help of peer review I was able to write it more effectively. Also, it was easier to transition from the last point to the conclusion because of the image analysis. Pretty much every paper helped prepare us for the next one. Even though the synthesis was harder, it still let us give our own opinions which I think is important when writing a paper.

  1. Did you like having a peer response group? Or would you rather have worked on your paper alone? I also thought that the synthesis essay was harder than the image analysis.

  2. I agree that the synthesis was harder but it was the most interesting to write since it had so much to do with what we believed. With every paper we got to write with our point of view btu we got to the most with the synthesis.

  3. Synthesis was harder than the Image Analysis. Being placed in peer response groups that we're writing over similar topics was also very helpful

  4. I felt like my endeavors with these assignments were fairly similar. The image analysis was much harder than I thought, but I felt I gained a lot from it. It was also hard to write the synthesis essay, but mostly just synthesizing the ideas.
