Happiness redefined
Happiness. What is it? At the beginning of the semaester for this class thought I knew what it meant. However, as the semester has gone on my perspective on happiness has changed. I believe happiness is not something that you are looking for on your life. If you know what happiness is and what it means, then you posses it throughout your life. Happiness is not something that you can just discover and then possess throughout your life. If you know what it is and what it takes to be happy then you are happy and will always have the potential to be happy.

Any idea what it is? Do people who "have it" have the ability to explain it to others?
ReplyDeleteDo you think miserable people will just be miserable forever? Not a pleasant view--but I do know people who complain about being lonely when they are by themselves; and then complain about feeling crowded when they have company. Could be some truth here about happiness being something people have to choose (or, as you say, know how) to do.
I agree, happiness is something that people have to choose to have in their lives. Some people choose not to have it by making bad decisions or doing the wrong thing over and over again. I think everyone knows how to have happiness in their life its just a matter of them finding what it really is that makes them happy and sticking to it. And it's a matter of believing in happiness
