College

Why does everyone have to go to college just to get a job? When my parents were coming out of high school, not even half of the class planned on attending college. This is my first and last year of college, feel as though I have wasted time and money. College should be for a need-to-go basis for a job, like being a doctor for example. Most degrees are almost a waste of time for someone to spend 4 years in school for, just proves to a company that the person had enough time and money to learn some idea of what they could be doing in the future. Even though on the job training is what is most important. Don't mean to complain, just don't like the way America views college these days.

  1. I completely agree with you. This is most likely my last semester of college as well. I do no tfeel as though I am learning enough to waste money on an education.

  2. i wonder, what are you planning on doing that you don't need a college education. Like it or not a great deal of companies will not hire you if you don't have a college degree. Part of college is the experience. Yeah, there are better things you could do with your money, but I think you'd be missing out.
